Terms of use

1. What this is

Portie is a service for property management companies in rental housing: guest requests, staff tasks and property passports. By starting to use the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it: we cannot offer a way to accept the terms in part.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number: by a code from a message, or with a password if you have set one. Access to the service equals access to your phone: if you lose the phone, write to hello@portie24.com and we will close your sessions.

A company is created once. Staff are invited by the manager — by link, QR code or a one-time code.

3. Your data and your guests’ data

Everything you enter — property addresses, access codes, guest requests — stays yours. We store and process it so the service works, and we do not pass it to third parties except as described in the personal data policy.

You are responsible for having the right to enter the data you enter: this concerns information about guests and staff first of all.

4. Payment

The service has a trial period, followed by a subscription. The price depends on the number of properties in use and their usage mode; current prices are shown in the “Billing” section. Invoices are issued per billing period; non-payment suspends the company in the service, and the data is kept.

5. What you must not do

Attempt to reach other companies’ data, interfere with the service, use it for bulk mailings or for collecting data about people unrelated to your work. We close access for this.

6. Limits of liability

The service is a tool, not a performer of your obligations to your guests. We work to keep it available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation: hosting, telecom operators and we ourselves do fail. We are not liable for lost profit or for decisions made on the basis of data you entered yourself.

7. Changes

These terms may change. We show material changes in the app before they take effect. The version date is given at the top of the page.
